The Atlantis Rugby High Performance Training Academy is for rugby players interested in improving their skills, preparing for the USA Pathways age grade programs, or who want to continue playing after High School. It is a co-ed program for players born between 2006-2012 with those born between 2006-2008 also eligible for selection to our High Performance teams that will be competing in February, May, and June.
The details for those matches and tournaments are TBD but we will be competing against other state, regional, and academy (including MLR) programs. The Academy is designed to supplement local State-Based competitions and is not intended to compete with, or interfere with, a player’s participation in their local home club. We will do our best to keep potential conflicts to a minimum, just like in 2024 when our competitions occurred after the local seasons had ended.
The Academy sessions will once again take place at the Conshohocken Proving Grounds and will be on Jan 27, Feb 3, 10, 17, 24, Mar 3, 10 from 8-930PM for the Winter. The Spring Academy dates will be May 19, 26, and June 2, 9, 16, 23 location TBD. We are pleased to announce that this program will be part of the USA Rugby National Development Pathways Program.

2024 was the first year that Atlantis Rugby fielded competitive 15s sides and the initial year was tremendously successful. In June our U18 Boys took second place at the Buckeye Invitational in Ohio, in November our U16 Boys won the Old North State Invitational in North Carolina with our U18 Girls taking second, and in December our U18 and U16 Boys took on Young Glory in Maryland with the U18 Boys bringing home a victory.
We look forward to helping more motivated athletes grow and develop, and to providing more of these amazing opportunities to our players. We hope that you’ll consider signing up and joining the Academy!
