Atlantis Alumni Update - Fall 2021

Updated: Oct 27, 2021

Atlantis players all around the country are being selected for high level rugby.

With Rugby back in full swing across the country Atlantis is once again running clinics and getting set to compete against the best that Rugby 7s has to offer. We're not the only ones getting back at it and that's led to plenty of action for Atlantis players all around the USA at every level. Here's a recap of what's been going on:

A 9 week development academy was held for USA Men's High Performance Pathways which included our very own DJ Selby among the 27 prospects.

The North American Lions – who feature players from the North American High School 7s Series – are returning to Dubai 7s from December 2-4 to complete in the boys U19 International Competition with Jack Foley on the Coaching Staff.

The USA Men's Selections have been announced for the Americas Pacific Challenge 2021 taking place from October 22 – October 30. They will compete against Argentina, Brazil, and Chile with Eric Naposki and Owen Sheehy on the roster.

The USA Women's Eagles have named their squad for the Autumn Internationals, which is their first test series in nearly two years. They will face Canada on November 1 and November 5 and then take on Ireland on November 12 and England on November 21. The team includes Amy Bonte, Gabby Cantorna, Tess Feury, Megan Foster, Saher Hamdan, Rachel Johnson, Joanna Kitlinski, Carly Waters and Kate Zackary on the field with Jamie Burke and Kate Daley on the coaching staff.

Last, but certainly not least, Mike Dabulas was named to the Men's Eagles squad to take on the All Blacks in the 1874 Cup in Washington D.C.
